Background
Our company started in 1991 in the Boston area of Western Massachusetts, with a focus on resolving building hazards such as air quality and sick building syndrome. We then naturally progressed on to providing asbestos, radon, and lead paint testing.
Pioneering Work
Our first air quality sampling for mold (fungi) on a building was performed in 1992 to determine the cause of mold growth in an attic that was devastating a private home. At the time, most mold (fungi) testing firms, laboratories, and consultants have not thought of mold testing in construction as a viable business. Additionally, we pioneered the use of thermal imaging techniques in inspecting mold in attics and mold due to condensation lines in and around buildings.

Samuel N. Cohen is our mold expert that has more than 25 years of experience in the Environmental Science field, and has intimate knowledge of Construction Codes. As part of our team, he can determine air quality issues quickly and then recommend many cost effective ways to solve your air quality problem.
